1. ติดตั้งเครื่องพิมพ์ให้เรียบร้อย
2. กำหนด Work group ให้เป็น group เดียวกัน
3. บน Windows 7 คลิกที่ Control Panel เลือก Network and Sharing Center
4. คลิกที่ Change advance sharing setting
5. กำหนดให้
5.1Turn on network discovery
5.2 Turn on file and printer sharing
5.3 Turn on sharing so anyone with network access can read and write file in the Public folder
5.4 Turn off password protected sharing
(อันนี้ สำคัญมาก ถ้าไม่ Turn off password protected sharing แล้ว Windows จะไม่ให้เรา
connect และต้องกรอกรหัสผ่าน)
5.1Turn on network discovery

6. คลิกปุ่ม Save changes
7. คลิกขวาที่เครื่องพิมพ์เลือก Printer Properties
8. ติ๊กถูกหน้า Share this printer และ Render print jobs on client computer คลิกปุ่ม OK
9. บน Windows XP ให้พิมพ์ Start Run พิมพ์ \\ หมายเลข Ip Address ของเครื่องพิมพ์ที่ให้บริการบน “Windows 7
10.ดับเบิลคลิกที่เครื่องพิมพ์ Windows 7ที่บริการอยู่ สามารถพิมพ์ผ่านเครือข่ายได้
